Enjoy the Venice islands tour: day trip in the northern lagoon to admire Murano, Burano and Torcello. 6 hours to see the islands in all their beauty.

Start from St. Mark’s Square you will cross the lagoon comfortably seated in a panoramic boat with a specialized guide that will explain history and culture of the islands.

The first stop is Murano known throughout the world for its glass manufacturing industry. Here there is a stop to visit one of the factories to admire a glass demonstration done by a local artist that will create an unique glass item in front of your eyes. Then you will have time to visit the lovely island. (You will stay on the island 1 hour and 15 minutes approx.)

The second stop is on the picturesque island of Burano, famous not only for its laces manufacture  but also for its fishermen's houses painted in bright colors. Get lost through the colored streets and taste the delicious local cakes “Bussolai”. (You will stay on the island 1 hour and 30 minutes approx.)

The last, but not the least is the quiet and sparsely populated island of Torcello, the first center of civilization in the estuary. On these island you can admire the oldest churches of the lagoon and discover how Venice was born! (You will stay on the island 1 hour approx.)

You will come back from the islands crossing all the lagoon admiring the fascinating St. Mark’s Basin from the boat

Enjoy the panoramic boat, from where you can take marvelous pictures to Venice and its lagoon.


  • Meeting point: Murano, Burano and Torcello indication on yellow box in front of the Prisons’ Palace, close to Ponte della Paglia (between Doge’s Palace and Hotel Danieli)
  • Ending point: St. Mark’s Square area or "Punta Sabbioni waterbus stop"
  • Availability & operation: From 1st March 2021 until 31st December 2022
     The tour will not take place on 25th December, January 1st and in case of exceptionally bad weather, boats are completely covered; the tour operates regularly in case of rain or snow.
  • Departure and meeting: Every day at 11:00 AM, please be at the meeting point 30 minutes before.
  • Inclusion: Shared guided tour on board with a tour guide Glassblowing demonstration in a Murano furnace  1 hour and 15 minutes on Murano 1 hour and 30 minutes on Burano and 1 hour on Torcello
  • Duration: 6 hours approximately - (1 hour and 15 minutes on Murano - 1 hour and 30 minutes on Burano and 1 hour on Torcello)
  • Languages: every day in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian (the tour could be multilingual)
  • Gross price public rate: Adult + 6 years:  € 20,00 p.p. – Children from 3 – 5,99 years: € 10,00 – Infant: 0 – 2,99 years: free
  • Sale & Reservation: Free sale until 24 hours before the beginning of the tour. No minimum participants required to do the tour.
  • Cancellation: bookings can be cancelled with no charge up to 24 hours before the service.
  • Voucher: You should have the voucher where is written “service provided by Venice Tours Srl”. Upon arrival at the location clients should present their printed or mobile voucher to the representative, once verified they obtain the ticket and can join the tour

  • Unfortunately, this tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities.
  • The use of the mask is MANDATORY aboard and in the glass factory, please bring your own.
  • The entrance inside the churches in Torcello is not included
  • Comfortable shoes suggested

Take line #1 and get off at “S. MARCO-S. ZACCARIA (Danieli)" stop. Once you get off turn left and you find a yellow desk by the Prisons’ Palace on your right just before the bridge called Ponte della Paglia.
The yellow desk is located by the Prisons’ Palace in Riva degli Schiavoni near St. Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower, leaving the Basilica on your left, proceed straight on to the two columns, then turn left. Cross one bridge, called Ponte della Paglia, and you will find the yellow desk by the Prisons’ Palace on your left.
