Get on gondola to glide the Grand Canal and then enjoy an amazing walking tour through the secrets & mysteries of Venice.
The gondola will cross the Grand Canal and its minor waterways reachable only by this special boat. During the ride, the local guide will explain the history of the Palaces around you and about the gondola and gondoliers. You will admire the Fenice Opera House, Peggy Guggenheim Collection, the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute and, at the end, you will see a breathtaking overview of Piazza San Marco from the water.
At the end of the gondola tour, you will receive a QR code to download a digital map with 2D images of Venice from the middle ages until the 18th century.
After the gondola ride you will start a historical walking tour from Piazza San Marco until Rialto Bridge, passing through the most important Venetian highlights.
Listen to history & legends of Piazza San Marco you will admire the Palazzo Ducale, The St.Mark'S Basilica, the Clock- tower, Bridge of Sighs and many others!
Then you will enter in the labyrinth of “calli” (venetian narrow streets) to discover some of the most important historical highlights as Campo Santa Maria Formosa; the Marco Polo's House; the Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo, known as the Venetian Pantheon; the Fenice Opera House and many other fascinating places known only by the locals.

The guide will be only on one gondola, the participants on the other gondolas will listen to her/him with the audio-devices
The live commentary will be only in English and Italian. The commentary on German, French and Spanish will be provided by mobile app downloaded on the own devices. The multilingual staff will provide it at the meeting point.
Unfortunately, this tour is not fully accessible for wheelchair users or people with walking disabilities - Comfortable shoes suggested – Each gondola can host maximum 6 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending of guest’s weight – The itinerary could change in case of wind or bad weather.
How to reach the meeting point:
With Piazza San Marco and the arches of Museo Correr at your back and the Poste Italiane (Post Office) in front of you, look on the left and you will see a big grey newsstand (with many souvenir and newspapers): that one is the Venice Tours Assistance Point. The newsstand is between Fendi Boutique and Poste Italiane (Post Office). You'll see a sign "VENICE TOURS - ASSISTANCE POINT".
