An artistic experience, which will make you live the preparation for the Venetian Carnival! In this unforgettable activity, a venetian master artisan will explain the traditional art of making masks and their ancient history.
DECORATE your mask course
Your instructor will be our experienced decorator, who will teach you how to paint and decorate your own mask. The participants will choose a mask to be decorated during the course and at the end of the course, they will keep their mask as a very special souvenir to bring back home.

Course of PRODUCTION
Your instructor will explain the ancient technique of making a Venetian papier-mâché mask providing information about the use of masks in Venice during past centuries. The participants at the end of the hour will keep their mask as a very special souvenir to bring back home. In case of mask production the client will return to the laboratory after 6 hours to collect the mask when it's dry.

HOW TO REACH THE MEETING POINT:
ARRIVING BY PUBLIC VAPORETTO
Take line #1 and get off at “San Marco Vallaresso” stop or line #2 and get off at “San Marco Giardinetti” stop. Once you get off the vaporetto, turn right and go straight on to the two columns, then turn left and reach Saint Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower, go straight on leaving the Basilica on your right and pass under the Clock Tower. Proceed straight on to the end of “Mercerie dell’Orologio”. Then turn right into “Campo San Zulian” and facing the Church pass its façade on the left and you have reached “Campiello San Zulian”. The laboratory is located in the opposite corner on your right.
ARRIVING ON FOOT
The laboratory is located a few minutes walk from Saint Mark’s Square. Once by the Bell Tower, go straight on leaving the Basilica on your right and pass under the Clock Tower. Proceed straight on to the end of “Mercerie dell’Orologio”. Then turn right into “Campo San Zulian” and facing the Church pass its façade on the left and you have reached “Campiello San Zulian”. The laboratory is in the opposite corner on your right.
